The Judicial Museum, formerly the Tainan District Court, is located on Fuchien Road in Tainan’s West Central District. Built during the Japanese era, it is now a designated national historic site.
Inside, the museum showcases the spatial layout of a courthouse and Western-style architectural features such as domed halls, arched columns, and coffered ceilings—combining solemnity with refined elegance. Exhibits include judicial archives and legal education displays, such as the interactive zone “I’m a Citizen, I’m a Judge,” which lets visitors experience courtroom procedures.
Opening Hours: Tue–Sun 09:00–17:00; closed on Mondays; free admission
