Located in Tainan’s West Central District, the National Museum of Taiwan Literature is the country’s first national-level literary museum. It was converted from the former Tainan Prefectural Hall built during the Japanese era and is now a designated national historic site.
The museum focuses on collecting, preserving, researching, exhibiting, and promoting Taiwanese literature. It features a library, children’s literature zone, and cultural shop. With its classical European-style architecture and clear exhibition layout, it’s an ideal place to explore the evolution of Taiwan’s literary and cultural heritage.
Opening Hours: Tue–Sun 09:00–18:00; closed on Mondays (open on national holidays)
